Rate Limiter API with Redis
A Node.js and Express rate limiter that keeps a per-IP counter in Redis and allows at most 5 requests per 60 seconds.
What I did
- A 60-second expiring counter is kept in Redis for each IP address.
- Requests over the limit get a 429 Too Many Requests response.
- The counter resets automatically when the window expires.
